Could you ever imagine that you are the best solution to a bad day?
Your perspective and your power to choose your
own actions are all you need to turn your day from mediocre (or terrible!) into
better (or even great!). By taking a different approach and possibly
getting outside your comfort zone, you may find some surprising rewards.
Instead of focusing on "having a good
day", you have a unique opportunity to empower yourself, and energize those around you by "making it a good day". Energy
is contagious, and it is up to you what type of energy you are sharing with
others. Feeling challenged with that perspective? Try directing
your focus on making it a good day for those around you. This can be
challenging to think about, but does not require any grand gestures. Take
an extra moment with those around you. Whether it be at work, at home,
the gym, or anywhere, ask someone how they are doing, or how their weekend
went, and spend the next few moments to LISTEN to them, really listen.
Then build from there.
